This optional field documents the Princeton University fixed-asset number for this device. Any device bought by the University as a capital purchase will be assigned a fixed-asset number. This field exists to assist in cross-referencing host database information with that maintained by the Treasurer's Office.
This field is entirely optional; the Host Database does not require it. However, some University departments may expect you to enter this field for any computer purchased by the department.
If the device has no asset number assigned, just leave this field blank.
You may specify the value NONE to clear your device's ASSET-NUMBER field.
