When you succesfully add or change an entry in the Host Database, email is sent to all of the Technical Contacts, showing the outcome of the add or change.
You may use the optional NOTIFY fields to cause this email to be sent to additional email addresses. (The email addresses you enter in these fields are not stored in your Host Database entry. They are used just this one time, to receive notification of the outcome of the one database add/change you are requesting.)
If you choose to fill in this field, be sure to enter a valid email address.
