icmpredirectsend

This is the home page for the icmpredirectsend software distribution.

icmpredirectsend sends an Ethernet frame containing an ICMPv4 Redirect packet containing fields you specify. This is a diagnostic tool intended for use by network administrators.

Presently the product builds and runs on Solaris 9 and 10 on SPARC with gcc. To use it on other platforms, you'll likely need to port it. It makes use of libnet.

This software was created by Irwin Tillman of the Network Systems Group ( networking@princeton.edu ) at Princeton University's Office of Information Technology.
