README for bootpdc This is bootpdc. It is a perl script that decodes BootP and DHCP packets from tcpdump output. This software was created by the Network Systems Group at Princeton University's Office of Information Technology, networking at princeton dot edu. The original version was written by Chris Tengi. Enhancements were added by Irwin Tillman. It is available from: https://www.net.princeton.edu/software/bootpdc/ To use this product, you will need perl 5.6.0 or later and tcpdump. tcpdump is available from http://www.tcpdump.org/ The file NEWS describes recent user-visible changes to the product. To install, copy the 'bootpdc' script to somewhere in your PATH; you'll probably need to edit the #! bang at the start. Copy the bootpdc.1 manual page into an appropriate manual directory.
